The volume of information available about enrichment is immense, and the number of options available for caregivers to enrich their dogs is expanding every day. A simple recommendation of “increase enrichment” can be overwhelming and difficult to implement. In this webinar we will review some of the literature supporting the use of enrichment for dogs, define the goals of enrichment, and discuss the common categories of enrichment. We will also discuss how to help owners select appropriate enrichment for their dogs and how to evaluate if the enrichment is meeting the needs of that individual dog.
